FIRST TIME RIDERS

THIS IS HOW WE ROLL

FITNESS LEVELS

All fitness levels are welcome at CYCLEBOX. Our coaches are here to inspire you to push yourself...but please listen to your body and work at a pace that you are comfortable with.

 

We work with Keiser bikes from which a variety of gears can be selected; Beginner, Intermediate and Badass rider. All riding together in a squad. The coach will call out a number to ride between (e.g 10-15) Newbies would stay at 10, with more confident and increased fitness level riders increasing to 13, then the badass riders hit up the max number every session. We all work towards the badass level. 

 

No one will know what level you are on, it's just you vs you, only the coach can see your monitor and will aim to keep you motivated.

ARRIVE EARLY

Please arrive in the studio 15mins before your session starts. We need you to fill out a new rider form, get your bike set up and go through safety instructions with you. Riders under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the form in person. Minimum Age to participate is 16.

FUEL UP

We recommend eating a light snack 30 mins before your session. We do not work on an empty tank.

WHAT TO WEAR

Sportswear and trainers that you would normally wear to the gym or SPD cleat. 

HYDRATE

Be sure to have water before, during, and after the session. Stay healthy by hydrating the body. We will have water to purchase if you forget your own. Please also bring a towel.

Facilities

Our studio is equipped with a shower and a separate changing room if required. We also supply luxury toiletries for all our CYCLEBOX members to use. 

LOCKERS

You can put your belongings in our lockers. Just a key no money required.
